Welcome to Newark Art Club

 

Newark Art Club aims to enable artists to pursue their hobby in the company of fellow enthusiasts. We have a friendly and informal atmosphere for anyone interested in drawing and painting. Visit our Photo Album to see a few of the things we’ve been up to recently.

We have a permanent display of some members’ work in the Friendly Farmer Restaurant

on the A17/A46 & A1 roundabout, Newark.

 

An Autumn Exhibition will be held at The Gilstrap, Newark 20th-21st October. Further details to follow.

 

The art club summer trip this year is to Oxford on Saturday 19th May. Leaving outside Grove School (London Road) at 8.00am, return 6.00-6.30pm. Cost £9.

 

The club has purchased half imperial (381mm x 558mm) sheets of 300g Bockingford NOT watercolour paper which members can purchase for 70p per sheet
